Emory has resources and information available for faculty and staff members who need ADA or high-risk support.

Resources Are Available

Every eligible Emory employee has a right to request reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Due to COVID-19, eligibility for reasonable accommodations has expanded to include those who are at significantly increased risk for negative outcomes if they were to contract COVID-19. Additionally, individuals with impairments resulting from “Long COVID” and individuals with mental health impairments that have been exacerbated by COVID-19 may be eligible for reasonable ADA accommodations. The Department of Accessibility Services (DAS) coordinates workplace accommodations through an interactive process with the employee, their leader, and human resources.
